What Is The Price Markup?
With Zero Up™, you have the ability to set a default price and compare at price markup so that each AliExpress product you publish to your Shopify store via Zero Up™'s product engine will have the default pricing markup applied to it. Price markups are by percentage.
Selling Price Markup refers to the ratio between the cost of good and the discounted selling price of the product you are offering.
Compare At Price Markup refers to the ratio between the cost of good and the original selling price of the product you are offering.
Please note that Zero Up™ will take the original selling price on AliExpress to do the price and compare at price markup, not the current discounted price.
Let's take a look at this example:
The Pricing Condition is set as below for this Silicone Folding Cup:
Selling Price Markup: 250% Ending Cent Value: .95
Compare At Price Markup: 300% Ending Cent Value: .49
For this Silicone Folding Cup, Zero Up™ will take $4.98 (The AlIExpress Original Price) and apply the price markup percentages. This means when this Silicone Folding Cup is published on Shopify, it will be:
Selling Price Markup = $4.98 x 3.5 = $17.43
Since the ending cent value is set to be $.95 then it will become $17.95.
Compare At Price Markup = $4.98 x 4 = $19.92.
Since the ending cent value is set to be $0.49, then it will become $19.49.
To set a pricing condition:
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down to the Pricing Conditions.
- Enter in the desired percentage or amount, and the desired ending cent value.
- Click "Save".
Please note: The price and compare at price markup will apply to all products you publish to your store. However, you can go into the specific product inside Shopify to make price changes. If you leave the price markup section blank, Zero Up™ will publish the products with the AlIExpress original price without any price markup.
